This role involves both hunting for new business and nurturing existing relationships. Key responsibilities include managing the business to exceed sales targets and KPIs, developing and executing a sales plan aligned with short- and long-term goals, providing timely and accurate forecasting and sales activity reporting, and supporting sales professionals throughout the sales cycle. You will need to effectively communicate the value proposition to various audiences, including c-level executives, and develop a deep understanding of the product offering, customer needs, and competitive landscape. To excel in this role, you should bring a minimum of 10 years of direct sales experience in Software or Solution selling, with familiarity in SaaS considered a plus. Experience in managing subscription new business sales and navigating complex sales cycles is desirable. Successful candidates will demonstrate a results-driven mindset, a positive and professional attitude, and a commitment to integrity and professionalism. A proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and territory/account development is essential, along with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
