Job Description

Designation: Japanese to English LinguistPosition: 02We are seeking a talented and passionate linguist with creative thinking skills tojoin our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Japanese and Englishand capable of handling end-to-end tasks for the translation process.

Core Responsibilities

To translate video script content from Japanese to English with precision

and cultural sensitivity
To review and modify machine translation keeping the video sentencelength intact.

Conduct thorough research when faced with unfamiliar terminology or

industry-specific jargon to maintain accuracy in translations.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of Japanese and English languages

and culture to ensure translations are contextually relevant and culturally
appropriate.

Effectively coordinate with the team of editors for sentence length

related issues.

Modify the translated text according to the machine voice recording

length and shall supporting the editors to achieve desired length of the
audio output.

Work closely with other team members, editors, and subject

matter experts to ensure accurate translations.

Be open to feedback and continuous improvement.
Implement quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality

translations.

Regularly review and update translation glossaries and style

guides.
Qualification BA (Japanese) or N2 passedExperience 0-2 Years.Skill Set

Proficiency in Japanese and English is essential.
Ability to accurately translate written and spoken content between

Japanese and English.

Familiarity with the cultural nuances of both languages
Knowledge of regional variations and colloquialisms in Japanese and

English.

Proficiency in translation tools and software.
Familiarity with word processing software for creating and editing

documents.
