Engineering Supervisor

Role Overview: As an Engineering & Facilities Associate at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to install, maintain, perform preventative maintenance, and recommend replacements for tools, appliances, and equipment. You will be required to calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and operate shut-off valves. Additionally, you will be responsible for ordering, marking, and stocking parts and supplies, maintaining inventory, and logging purchase orders. In case of emergencies, you will assist in the development of disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests promptly. Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment - Calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and operate shut-off valves - Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies as needed - Maintain inventory and log purchase orders - Assist in the development of disaster response protocols - Respond to guest repair requests promptly - Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees - Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and complete safety training - Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information - Develop positive working relationships with team members - Identify and implement ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors Qualifications Required: - Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree - Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience - Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience - License or Certification: None Additional Information: At The Ritz-Carlton, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional luxury service that leaves a lasting impression on guests.
