Engineering Specialist

KBR is seeking multiple Certified Professional Engineers to serve as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in disciplines such as Mechanical, Piping, Chemical or Process, Instrumentation or Control Systems, and Electrical to provide support for major projects within the Oil & Gas or Fertilizer Industry. Ideal candidates for this position must be certified through the US, Canada, or Australia and possess extensive industry experience. As a Certified Professional Engineer at KBR, your responsibilities will include performing all conventional engineering tasks within your discipline, collaborating with team members, demonstrating leadership by managing specific project areas or systems, developing and implementing engineering solutions based on technical specifications, creating and reviewing design drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports, analyzing data, presenting findings to the team, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliances, and guiding the team towards developing competitive designs. Moreover, you will be expected to engage with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the success of the projects. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Piping, Chemical or Process, Instrumentation or Control Systems, or Electrical), have a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience, demonstrate proficiency in engineering design including FEED and Detail Engineering, possess field experience, and be a Professional Engineer Certified from the US (Louisiana or Texas), Canada, or Australia in one of the mentioned disciplines. Additionally, expertise with engineering software, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and adherence to industry standards are essential for success in this position.,
