Engineering Specialist - Fabricated Equipment

The Engineering Specialist - Fabricated Equipment is responsible for Skid engineering, project management, quality manufacturing & on-time delivery of skids and static equipment. Role involves intensive knowledge of package engineering, manufacturing & testing of skids & fabricated equipment. Candidate should be working with multiple stake holders internally as well as externally with various disciplines of engineering viz., Process, mechanical, electrical & instrumentation to complete the engineering / manufacturing drawings & documents for skids & package equipment. And shall involve in execution & manufacturing at vendor location envisaging necessary measures to be taken for on-time delivery & quality of Skids & package equipment. Responsibilities / Expectations: Deliver Skids & Fabricated equipment by design & engineering of package equipment, product design, define manufacturing processes, project management and manufacturing at various locations. Shall have experience with design & engineering of process static equipment, pumps, valves & other package equipment. Shall be conversant with reading technical specifications and setting up quality requirements of Products and monitoring vendor quality processes, Shall have knowledge of compliance on codes & standards viz., ASME, ASTM., Shall have thorough knowledge on metal & non-metallic material standards and applications. Shall confer with equipment suppliers, Schedule delivery of equipment to meet manufacturing schedule and achieve on-time delivery of skids. Shall be able to perform root cause analysis of any incident during engineering & manufacturing processes. Shall be aware of Non-conformity processes. Shall be providing timely solutions for any engineering / manufacturing changes arising during execution of skids. Shall have knowledge of Manufacturing processes viz., Cutting, grinding techniques, welding processes viz., SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW etc. Shall have knowledge in testing requirements specified complying with international codes & standards. Knowledge in high alloy metallurgy would be an added advantage. Hands-on experience in SAP material management & Project Systems Hands on experience with Acad, Microsoft office and SAP tools. Knowledge in google platform & AWS platform preferred. B.E / B. Tech - Mechanical.
