What would you do? We are seeking a detail-oriented GIS & Data Analyst to support our electrical engineering and geospatial data operations. The role involves interpreting AutoCAD electrical drawings, performing data mapping into GIS platforms, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure accurate integration of schematic and spatial data.This position is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical engineering, GIS, or related technical fields, who are looking to build expertise in CAD-GIS integration and asset data management.

What are we looking for? ?¢Bachelor s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related technical field. ( Experience in years??)?¢Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.?¢Familiarity with GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data concepts.?¢Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured data workflows.?¢Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general data handling practices.?¢Good communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across technical teams. Should have ability to connect with teams across countries?¢Exposure to utility networks, field asset mapping, or infrastructure data projects.?¢Basic understanding of data validation, data modeling?¢Familiarity with engineering documentation standards and version control tools.?¢Experience working in projects involving CAD to GIS integration is a plus.

Roles and Responsibilities: ?¢Interpret electrical layouts and schematics from AutoCAD drawings, including equipment locations, cable routing, and connectivity details.?¢Perform data mapping and integration of engineering assets into GIS systems ?¢Update and maintain geospatial and attribute data in alignment with engineering documentation.?¢Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency between CAD and GIS datasets.?¢Support the alignment of spatial data with operational and engineering requirements.?¢Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CAD designers, engineers, and GIS specialists to support ongoing project work.?¢Maintain proper documentation and version control for spatial and engineering data updates.
