Job Description

Qualifications & experience (i) Graduate in Civil Engineering & Post-Graduate in Environmental Engineering (ii) Conversant with Water Gems, EPANET and other hydraulic design and network analysis software. (iii) Should have knowledge of Indian Standard Codes and Manual related to water, wastewater, and drainage projects. (iv) Experience in design, engineering, construction monitoring & project management of water sector and other infrastructure projects for about 10-15 years. Job description (i) Reporting to Project Head Water & Infrastructure BU (ii) Preparation of feasibility report, detailed project report (DPR) for water supply, wastewater, and drainage projects. (iii) Planning, hydraulic design and review of raw water intake, sedimentation tank, gravity main, rising main and distribution network both manually and using Water Gems or EPANET (iv) Planning, hydraulic design and review of water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants minimum two of capacity 50-100MLD. (v) Check design basis, and ensure design and drawings includes operational challenges that may occur during the life cycle of the project. (vi) Undertake optimization studies where necessary to ensure cost of project within approved budget. (vii) Study GAD, detailed drawings, designs and recommend client observation for modification and final approval. (viii)Attend client meeting to discuss on technical matter of the project. (ix) Supervise discipline engineers on technical matters for timely review of design, data sheet, documents, drawings. (x) Ensure timely finalization of technical and design reports for submission to the client. (xi) Ensure documentation of design & project related submittal by contractors and other communications made for client coordination. (xii) Coordinates with client for all design related issues and updates clients time to time. (xiii)Attend client meeting at different project locations including when required at SWSM level. (xiv)Organize weekly meetings with Project Head and update status of approval and submissions. (xv) Brings issues to the knowledge of Project Head and PM Team for amicable settlement. (xvi) Coordinate with TL, DTL, DPM and cluster level engineers to ensure timely and error free submission of deliverables.
