The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing travel logistics, visa processing, claim reimbursements, and day-to-day team coordination. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal and external appointments. We are looking for a right candidate to provide Piping Material Engineering services / support to Turnaround (TA) and Project engineering activities at the Stanlow Manufacturing Complex. Provide Engineering support to a small / large portfolio of Capital Works Projects & Turnarounds. Principal Accountabilities: Material Selection - Evaluate and select appropriate materials for piping systems based on project requirements, including considerations such as fluid type, temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions. Compliance - Ensure that piping items designed with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM). Mechanical Properties - Ensure that piping items designed with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM). Material Testing - Plan and oversee testing and qualification programs to verify the suitability and performance of selected materials. Supplier Management - Evaluate and select suppliers of piping materials based on factors such as quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Vendor document review and approval. Documentation - Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions, and other documentation related to various piping components like valves/strainers etc. Piping Class Management - Add/Modify required piping items as per project requirements, Special piping item preparation. Bill of Material - Prepare MTO summary based upon PEFs or Model extraction or isometrics. Piping Stress Analysis - Basic exposure to stress analysis is required. The candidate should be open to working in cross-functional roles involving stress analysis. Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. 4-6 years of experience in piping material engineering, preferably in [industry sector]. Strong knowledge of piping materials and various piping inline items like flanges, bolts, gaskets, valves, strainers etc. Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API 600, API 602, BS1873, ASME B 16.10, ASME B16.34, Proficiency in corrosion analysis techniques and mitigation strategies is added advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, CAESAR II, or equivalent is a plus. Good interpersonal skills and ability to positively interact with all key project and turnaround stakeholders, including 3rd parties. Working knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
