Responsibilities

Ensure the reliability and availability of tier-0 services.
Collaborate with team members to define the vision and roadmap.
Manage and cultivate top talent to consistently deliver significant impact.
Establish and promote operational best practices within your organization.
Partner with various customers and stakeholders across Stripe.

Minimum requirements

Extensive cloud experience with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OCI, Google).
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience managing managers.
Over 15 years of experience in software development.
Proven ability in defining and driving complex initiatives/projects.
Experience in hiring top talent and building teams from the ground up.
Expertise in operations (metrics, alarming, paging, and service availability).
Capability to thrive in a high-autonomy and high-responsibility environment.
