Engineering Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team of 5-10 engineers.
• Own the execution and delivery of product and technical roadmaps in collaboration with Product, Design, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, and high-impact technical decisions.
• Drive engineering best practices including clean code, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and security.
• Foster a culture of ownership, rapid iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent to scale the organization.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality products quickly, especially in ambiguous or high-growth contexts.
• Apply agile methodologies and adapt to startup-style product development cycles.
• Exhibit excellent communication, collaboration, and people leadership skills.
• Demonstrate a bias for action, building, shipping, and iterating without waiting for permission.

• Strong experience in backend development and familiarity with frontend technologies.
