Engineering Lead - Java Fullstack

Role

Purpose

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in developing and implementing enterprise-level applications with a focus on software development.
• The role will involve working with a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain various enterprise applications that support business operations and processes

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities will include but will not be restricted to:

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using programming languages such as Java fullstack
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and other developers to develop and implement scalable and reliable enterprise solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and debug technical issues and bugs in the code, and implement effective solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in enterprise application development and identify opportunities to incorporate them into existing applications.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development, including experience with Java fullstack.
• Should have experience with large scale Apps.
• Experience with management of Vendor applications required
• The Candidate should be hands-on or should be able to review the code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with developing and implementing enterprise applications for Insurance, finance, healthcare, or other similar industries is a plus.
• Familiar with Insurance will be preferred
