Engineering Lead

You are an experienced Head of Engineering / Engineering Lead with over 8 years of expertise in full-stack development, system architecture, and security compliance. Reporting to the Senior Director at Eqaro in Noida, you will be responsible for owning the product and tech functions. Your role involves ensuring scalable architecture, secure API integrations, DevOps best practices, and compliance with security policies. Collaborating closely with the outsourced development team, you will manage security audits and oversee integrations with third-party data services and distribution partners. Your key responsibilities include defining the technical vision, system architecture, and long-term roadmap. You will drive engineering best practices, collaborate with business leaders, and ensure alignment with tech execution. As the primary technical liaison, you will oversee the outsourced development team, implement robust processes, and troubleshoot technical issues for on-time project delivery. Managing API and external data integrations, you will ensure high availability, reliability, and security. You will also be responsible for information security policies, compliance, data encryption, and cybersecurity best practices. Overseeing cloud infrastructure and DevOps management, you will drive continuous deployment, scaling, and high availability while implementing backup and incident response strategies. Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing for scalability, you will ensure frontend and backend applications are optimized for speed and responsiveness. Your must-have skills include expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, React.js, AWS services, API security, and leadership experience. Preferred skills include knowledge of Fintech, compliance standards, and financial risk assessment tools.
