Role Overview: As an Engineering Supervisor at Pratap Mahal, Ajmer - IHCL SeleQtions, your primary objective is to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for machinery and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Your role will involve implementing Engineering SOPs and guidelines to maintain critical machinery at their optimum level, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate day-to-day engineering tasks, projects, and initiatives under the direction of the Deputy Engineer/Chief Engineer. - Provide solutions to recurring engineering problems in various areas such as guest floors, kitchens, laundry, banquets, and restaurants. - Lead, train, and mentor a team of engineering technicians in their day-to-day activities. - Conduct preventive maintenance of guest rooms, electrical, mechanical, kitchen & laundry equipment, plumbing, air-conditioning, refrigeration equipment, and more. - Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety guidelines during work execution within the hotel premises. - Coordinate with vendors for floating BOQs, site visits, and preparing comparatives, assisting in the issuance of orders. - Implement cost-effective solutions for ongoing issues within the hotel. - Collaborate with other departments like Housekeeping, Front Office, and Food & Beverage to address engineering concerns in their respective areas. - Assist in maintaining audit and maintenance records, as well as implementing FPL and R&M cost mitigation measures. - Plan and execute critical shutdowns for engineering services, monitoring and reviewing log books of critical engineering equipment. - Ensure compliance with relevant engineering statutory requirements within the department. Qualifications Required: - Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC or other relevant fields.
