Description
As an Electrical and Electronics Engineer for Construction Equipment, your role will involve the following responsibilities and key deliverables: - Demonstrate expertise in product knowledge for construction equipment, staying updated on industry trends and innovations to ensure reliable electrical systems based on application requirements. - Create and adapt various electronics systems in vehicles such as GPRS, Telematics, and Multi-mode operation, focusing on communication strategies between man and machine, vehicle to vehicle, and within the vehicle to provide a differentiated product value proposition based on customer needs. - Develop electrical parts like lamps, wiring harness, temps, cluster, etc., incorporating the latest technology and integrating them at the vehicle level. - Stay informed about the latest developments in EES systems and implement them in vehicles. - Design and develop diagnostic and prognostic tools and strategies. - Collaborate with interfacing areas like EMS, ABS, telematics to develop approaches for Construction Vehicles. - Utilize CAD/TC knowledge, specifically CATIA V5 R17/Siemens. - Implement DFM, DFA, DTC, DFMEA, QC story methodologies. - Develop systems for departmental processes to ensure adherence to MPDS (Mahindra Product Development System). - Establish an organizational structure for the EES team and focus on team member development. - Coordinate internally with various aggregate members and externally with vendors to ensure synchronization of priorities and timely part development. Qualifications: - BE/ ME in Electrical and Electronics with 12 years of experience in the industry. Please note that the location for this position is in Chennai or Chennai-MRV-AD, India.
