This is a global resource that provides engineering and technological solutions for many Textron business units We provide engineering and design services including but not limited to drafting, computer aided design, computer aided engineering, solid modeling, finite element analysis, sourcing, business development, marketing and other related activities and services in relation to the above sectors For more details please visit Position Summary The Network IT Analysis role for Textron Network Operations (24x7 Support) is to ensure the day-to-day network operations stability and integrity of Network Services which includes data, WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, video, Network related automation and wireless network services This is achieved by using support tools and understanding the network Services monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links This individual will also analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide lower-level Network Engineering training PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Strategy & Planning 24x7 Network Operation hours support Rotational On-Call Work and complete operational tickets for moves, adds, and changes in support of operational network services Be the SPOC (single point of contact) for Incidents (INC) tickets in support of network services Ability to work within ServiceNow Maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records Support and Maintain Monitoring tools/ applications (SolarWinds, Splunk Dashboards, etc) Maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery Work with a Manage Service Provider (MSP) in supporting, designing, troubleshooting, and other required services support activities Understanding Network Solutions that include but not limited to SD WAN, SIP, LAN, ACI, MPLS, WiFi, 5G, Spine-leaf, and other network service solutions Operational Management Configure networks to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling company objectives and processes Be the Technical point of contact for working with MSP in support of Enterprise solutions Monitor network performance and troubleshooting problem areas as needed Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting hardware, and software Monitor and test network performance Participate in managing and maintaining network security solutions Technical Competencies Knowledge & Experience 1 Networking Fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting OSI and TCP/IP models 2 Routing & Switching Static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) VLANs, STP, EtherChannel Layer 2/3 switching 3 Network Security Firewalls (eg Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) VPNs (IPSec, SSL) NAC (Network Access Control) IDS/IPS systems Zero Trust Architecture 4 Wireless Technologies WLAN design and deployment Wi-Fi standards (802 11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) Wireless security protocols 5 Cloud Networking AWS, Azure, Google Cloud networking VPCs, subnets, peering, transit gateways Hybrid cloud connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute) 6 Network Automation & Scripting Python, Ansible, Terraform REST APIs, Netmiko, NAPALM SDN (Software Defined Networking) 7 Monitoring & Troubleshooting SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog Tools: Wireshark, SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios Performance tuning and diagnostics 8 Virtualization & Containers VMware NSX, Hyper-V networking Docker networking Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins) 9 VoIP & Collaboration SIP, RTP, QoS Cisco Unified Communications Microsoft Teams/Zoom integration 10 Compliance & Standards PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO 27001 ITIL, NIST, CIS benchmarks Qualifications Qualifications The IT Analysis will have a bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science/ information technology with 3 - 5 years of related work experience, Certifications
