Job Description

As a Palo Alto Engineer, your role will involve configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) such as PA-series and VM-Series. You will be responsible for managing security policies, NAT, VPNs (GlobalProtect/IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention profiles. Additionally, you will need to implement and optimize App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, WildFire, and Decryption policies. Integration with Panorama for centralized management and policy control, firmware upgrades, HA configuration, log analysis, and collaboration with SOC/NOC teams for incident response and compliance will also be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto NGFWs including PA-series and VM-Series - Manage security policies, NAT, VPNs (GlobalProtect/IPSec/SSL), and threat prevention profiles - Implement and optimize App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, WildFire, and Decryption policies - Integrate with Panorama for centralized management and policy control - Perform firmware upgrades, HA configuration, and log analysis - Collaborate with SOC/NOC teams for incident response and compliance Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama - Solid understanding of network protocols, security zones, routing, and segmentation - Familiarity with cloud integration (Azure/AWS) and security automation (advantageous) - Holding Palo Alto certifications like PCNSA / PCNSE (preferred) - Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills If you have more than 3 years of experience and are comfortable working in the Australia Time Zone, we encourage you to apply for this position.,
