Engineer / Sr.Engineer/AM - High Pressure Cylinders

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute

  predictive and preventive maintenance

  activities to ensure high equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
• Conduct

  periodic inspections

  as per

  Time-Based Maintenance (TBM)

  and

  Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM)

  schedules to maintain optimal machine performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

  by identifying areas of obstruction or defects and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage

  spare parts and materials planning

  , including vendor identification, requirement specifications, offer evaluations, and procurement.
• Utilize

  root cause analysis and problem-solving tools

  to eliminate chronic issues, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Work towards reducing

  Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)

  and increasing

  Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF)

  for improved productivity.
• Develop and implement a

  Preventive Maintenance Plan

  and drive continuous improvement initiatives and machine modifications.
• Supervise and allocate

  contractor work

  , monitor job execution, and verify contractor bills.
• Oversee

  procurement control

  from vendor selection to stage-wise and final inspections.
• Ensure proper maintenance and performance of:

• High-pressure CNG seamless cylinder manufacturing equipment

• High-pressure testing lines (HST & ALT)

• 500-ton hydraulic presses, CNC, and HMC machines

  with servo hydraulics
• Lead and guide a

  team of engineers and technicians

  in preventive and predictive maintenance planning, CNC overhauling, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and prepare

  documentation

  in compliance with

  IATF 16949

  and

  ISO 9001:2015

  quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in

  maintenance of CNC, HMC, and hydraulic machinery

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  preventive/predictive maintenance

  techniques and quality systems.
• Hands-on experience with

  root cause analysis, MTTR, MTBF

  improvement, and spare part planning.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with

  IATF 16949 & ISO 9001:2015

  documentation and compliance.
