Engineer / Sr. Engineer Quality - (Fabrication & Welding)

We have 2 requirement - Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager - (Fabrication & Welding)

Role & responsibilities

Fabrication & Welding Quality Inspection:

• Conduct and oversee inspection activities across fabrication and welding processes as per applicable codes and customer requirements.
  
• Review and approve Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Test (WQT) documentation.
  

• Quality Management Systems:

• Ensure compliance and support audits for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  
• Support continual improvement initiatives through CAPA, internal audits, and process evaluations.
  

• Code & Standard Compliance:

• Apply knowledge and ensure product compliance with

  ASME Sec V, VIII, IX, Sec IIC

  , and

  EN 3834

  welding quality standards.
• Maintain updated documentation and records as per regulatory and customer requirements.
  

• Supplier Quality Management:

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through audits, process verification, and incoming quality checks.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers for NCR resolution, quality improvements, and adherence to specifications.
  

• Incoming & In-Process Inspection:

• Conduct and supervise incoming material inspection as per technical specifications and testing norms.
  
• Support in-process inspections to ensure adherence to quality at various production stages.
  

• Customer Coordination:

• Interact with customers for inspection planning, witnessing, and resolution of quality concerns.
  
• Participate in customer audits and ensure compliance with specific requirements.
  

• Material Testing & NDT:

• Good understanding of material specifications and testing standards.
  
• Certified

  NDT Level II

  in

  UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection), VT (Visual Testing)

  with hands-on inspection experience.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of welding standards and inspection techniques.
  
• Hands-on experience in dealing with third-party/customer inspections and audits.
  
• Proficient in technical documentation and reporting.
