Engineer, SQA

As an SQA Engineer at QSC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the Q-SYS platform by engaging in various activities such as creating test plans, test strategy, running tests, test automation, and upholding good Software Quality engineering practices. Working alongside a skilled team of software, firmware, and hardware engineers, you will contribute to the development of the award-winning Q-SYS platform that integrates cutting-edge audio, video, and control products. This position is based in Bangalore, India. Responsibilities: - Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering - Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance - Demonstrate leadership skills in managing SQA and/or software development teams - Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams - Have expertise in networking, telecom, and systems integration - Exhibit proficiency in preparing, publishing, and presenting status reports, release reports, and establishing metrics - Familiarity with agile development/iterative development methodology (SCRUM) - Showcase skills in automation tools and scripting - Display excellent communication and organizational skills to engage with internal company contacts and customers - Offer innovative solutions to complex problems - Preferred experience in qualifying audio systems, video systems, meeting room solutions, or network equipment - Maintain test labs and test systems Qualifications: - Develop software test cases, automated tests, and troubleshoot problems as part of the Q-SYS software development team - Create and execute end-to-end test cases for Q-SYS - Collaborate with subject matter experts and lead engineers to comprehend test case business requirements (Jira Stories) and apply that knowledge in developing tests - Take ownership of your lab infrastructure and assist in leading engineers on assigned projects - Engage in the software development process, reporting issues in the defect tracking system (JIRA) - Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues - Work efficiently with globally distributed SQA teams in a collaborative environment,
