Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Operations:

Execute maintenance and troubleshooting activities in
Caster, Tunnel Furnace, and Rolling Mill
systems.
Ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.
Perform breakdown analysis and corrective action planning for HT & LT systems, HVAC systems, and VFDs.

Technical Expertise:

Demonstrate hands-on experience with
Siemens drives (S120, G120)
and
ABB VFDs (ACS 580, 800, 850)
.
Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams, including supervisors, foremen, and technicians.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures for plant equipment and machinery.

Planning & Coordination:

Plan, schedule, and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and shift activities.
Manage spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime.
Ensure work progress aligns with project specifications and quality standards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare daily maintenance reports, logs, and equipment status updates.
Maintain records of preventive maintenance and breakdown reports.
Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for management review.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures during electrical work execution.
Possess knowledge of safety systems and comply with all regulatory and site safety requirements.
Hold a valid
Supervisory License for HT/LT systems
.

Teamwork & Communication:

Coordinate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
Maintain strong communication and collaboration across departments.
