Job Description

Job Summary:

Automation Assembly Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and understand mechanical drawings for assembling machines and fixtures.
Inspect machined components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance.
Operate hand and power tools such as drilling, cutting, and buffing equipment.
Perform precision assembly of jigs, fixtures, and automation components.
Work with pneumatic systems and integrate them into machine assemblies.
Apply basic knowledge of electrical systems and PLCs in machine setup.
Handle machine installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.

Desired

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (D.M.E / B.E).
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the industrial automation field.
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Familiarity with pneumatic and basic electrical systems.
Exposure to PLC-based automation is an added advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
