Engineer-Quality Control

As a member of the ACG Engineering team at ACG PAM Pharma Technologies Pvt Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include: - Strategic and planning to assure that Production receives defect-free parts from Suppliers - Continuously working on rejection reduction initiatives - Coordinating with Cross-Functional Teams for hurdle-free deliverables of In-coming Quality In your functional role, you will be expected to: Core: - Demonstrate technical competency and proficiency in understanding part level & assembly level drawings - Have a good understanding of productivity & quality improvement concepts such as 7-QC tools, TQM, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc. - Possess strong business acumen - Exhibit excellent written & verbal communication skills - Have solid working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP - Be aware of ISO 9001:2015 standards - Have a basic understanding of quality management systems, Pharma quality standards (GLP, FDA, GMP), testing techniques, and related processes - Understand the production value chain of related products Internal process responsibilities will include: - Ensuring timely inward material clearance - Following up with Purchase & Suppliers for Corrective and Preventive Actions (CA PA) of rejected parts - Coordinating & driving CA PA with internal suppliers for defects resolution - Tracking line rejections and closing the CA PAs from respective CFTs - Driving kaizen & 6-S projects - Conducting data analysis and data retrieval - Managing IQC related MIS - Maintaining QC instruments, calibration, identifying & purchasing new instruments - Developing Poka-yoke gauges / concepts for mistake proofing - Overseeing IQC related Quality Management System (QMS) activities - Leading Supplier rejection reduction drives, Supplier audits, and process audits - Coordinating with Third Party Labs for material destructive testing In terms of people development, you will be responsible for: - Training plant associates, suppliers & associated CFTs Your Key Result Areas will focus on: - Successful closure of supplier CA PA (Internal & External) - Rejection reduction drives You will be interacting with key interfaces including: - Design - Assembly - Purchase - Internal Supplier - External Supplier Your key competencies will include: - Customer and Supplier Management - Regulatory & Risk Management - Cross-Functional Team Working - Communication - Good Basic Technical Knowledge,
