Job Description

1. Plan gauge and cost to support customer RFQ

2. Procure gauges on time to support pilot batch production

3. Prepare PPAP documentation for customers

4. Prepare FMEA, Control Plan and Inspection Criterion

5. Support Production Launch with Training, approve inspectors by conducting MSA

6. Feedback Process Eng with process capability measurement results.

7. New parts & products CMM programming.

8. Controlling setup , in-process , final inspection activities, sample development & reporting quality inspection & test status reports to Project/ME, NPD QA to TL.

9. Daily reviews - Rejection, Rework analysis on daily basis and Weekly analysis reports to TL.

10. Arranging, leading the meetings to resolve & have corrective preventive actions on identified issues or problems.

11. Implementation of ISO system in given area, Implementing SPC wherever identified. ( Maintaining the control charts), reporting status of process behavior.

12. Implementing new policies as directed by TL.

13. Knowledge of 7 Quality Tools, Basics of Six Sigma, MSA

14. Data analysis and trend charting using Microsoft Excel

15. Knowledge of ISO/ TS16949 standards

16. New Gauge development .

17. PPAP documentations

18. Measurement Feasibility of new part.

19. Set-up approval & In-process inspection, Sample layout Inspection, Casting & Machining Layout.

20. CMM & Contour training to all Shift incharge & DET.

21. Part QA documents like- Inspection criteria, Setup, Inprocess, Visual criteria, Work instruction

Knowledge of GD&T, Gauge design

Data analysis and trend charting using Microsoft Excel, MSA, SPC studies

Knowledge of ISO/ TS16949 standards

Project Management skills

Fluent written and spoken communication in English and Hindi

Use of 7 Quality Tools, Awareness on Basics of Six Sigma DMAIC approach
