Job Description

SUMMARY

Designation : Senior Engineer QC - MEP

Location :Kolkata

Experience: 5 10 Years

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure the implementation of quality control standards and systems across all MEP. Responsible for the inspection, verification, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, codes, and approved drawings at project sites

Core Responsibilities

Inspect and verify materials upon delivery to ensure they meet project standards

Conduct routine checks on construction process

Prepare and maintain inspection and test records

Document and non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Maintain daily QC reports and submit daily updates in ACC platform

Ensure construction activities comply with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards, Contractual agreement, BOQ approved make.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.

Support internal and external audits and walkthroughs.

Review and verify subcontractors’ QC practices.

Witness material testing in third- party labs as required.

Assist in snagging and de-snagging activities before handover.

Conduct training as per scheduling of works.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
Diploma Electrical, B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical and Electronics

Experience 6-10 years
