Job Summary:

QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities

• Develop and implement

  Quality Assurance Plans

  for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Establish and enforce construction standards, ensuring materials and workmanship meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with project teams to define and maintain quality benchmarks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct training programs to ensure site teams adhere to quality protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation of all QA activities, including material test reports, inspection reports, and certifications.

Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities

• Conduct regular

  site inspections

  to ensure compliance with approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
• Verify that construction materials are sourced from approved vendors and meet quality standards.
• Perform

  incoming material inspections

  and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
• Conduct concrete cube testing, slump tests, and other quality assessments as required.
• Monitor and assess subcontractor work to ensure quality compliance.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test reports, and material approvals.
• Prepare

  Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

  for deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit periodic quality reports to project managers and senior management.

Problem Identification & Resolution

• Identify potential quality risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
• Investigate defects, non-conformances, or failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all corrective actions are implemented effectively and documented properly.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all quality control practices align with industry standards such as

  IS Codes

  ,

  NBC (National Building Code)

  , and other relevant regulations.
• Support site safety teams in maintaining health and safety standards.
