Job Description

Years of experience: BE/B.Tech Metallurgy/Material Science with 2-3 years Experience (or) Diploma in Metallurgy with 4-5 years Experience

Qualification : BE/B.Tech Metallurgy/Material Science (or) Diploma in Metallurgy

Job profile requirements:

Knowledge of Fe-C Diagram and different Phases
Awareness about Various Welding Processes like SMAW, GMAW, SAW, GTAW
Able to Perform Microstructural Analysis using an Optical Microscope for Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Materials
Ability to operate the XRF will be preferred
Shall be able to operate the Oxygen and Nitrogen Analyser
Able to Perform Macrostructural Analysis using Macroscope
Knowledge of Sample Preparation and Selection of suitable Etchants for Micro and Macro Testing of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Materials
Awareness about Chemical Composition Testing of Metals using Spectrometers
Basic Awareness related to Heat Treatments
Knowledge of working in NABL Documentation as per ISO 17025:2017 standard
