Engineer (Mechanical)

In this role, you will be responsible for performing a full lifecycle product development which includes designing, developing, testing prototypes, manufacturing, and implementing products. You will have to design systems and components that meet specific needs and requirements, produce outline designs, and conduct experiments methodically to analyze data and interpret results. Moreover, you will be testing and evaluating theoretical designs, identifying effective solutions to emerging problems, and evaluating the overall performance, reliability, and safety of final products. Your responsibilities will also include altering and modifying designs to meet requirements and eliminate malfunctions, estimating the budget and scope of the project, soliciting observations from operators, preparing product reports and documentation, and engaging in lifelong learning to develop new theories or methods. Your qualifications and skills should include proven working experience in mechanical engineering, familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM), finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE) is essential. You should also be familiar with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools such as AutoCAD, ProE, or other similar software. Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools like ANSYS, ProMechanica, or similar, as well as mathematical computing and analysis tools like Matlab, Excel, and LabView, is required. A solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, creativity, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical knowledge clearly are also necessary.
