Job Description

Role Overview: An Engineer IT Application Owner (ITAO) in Pune, India is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to achieve business goals efficiently and reliably. As an Engineer, you will actively participate in designing solution components, ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable, and integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment. You will also look for opportunities to improve component availability and performance by applying monitoring insights, automation, and fostering a "DevOps" mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Own the actions for Self-Identified Issue (SII) and collaborate with the business to close the actions/SII as per compliance guidelines - Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercises for the application - Manage internal and external application audits, as well as Audit issue remediation activities - Manage gaps in application lifecycle management activities such as Account recertification and Application configuration remediation - Handle application-related Risk and Compliance Evaluation tasks and address gaps in this area - Manage any IT Security incidents occurring in the application - Plan and Manage Application events and Database Events monitoring using standard monitoring tools - Monitor application capacity forecasting and manage it effectively - Plan and manage Application user access tasks - Plan for Application Hardware/Software/License upgrades or migration activities to align with compliant platforms - Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders/External Stakeholders and Vendors closely - Manage the application Non-Functional Requirement process - Support BISO/TISO in compliance assessment & implementation of IS controls in IT Assets - Understand Application landscape, Infrastructure Assets, and the Procurement process to proactively create demands for new applications assets - Familiarity with Change Management Process and related SDLC onboarding & compliance process Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in Application management, including infrastructure, security, and connectivity in the Finance domain - Experience in vendor risk management process - Proficiency in Oracle and MS-SQL databases - Experience with DevOps strategy - Strong Logical Aptitude and Questioning skills - Experience in Vendor Risk Management process (added advantage) - Understanding of cloud architecture (added advantage) Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank promotes a positive, fair, and inclusive work environment where applications from all people are welcome.
