Job Description

As the Installation and Commissioning Manager at our Supply Chain Solutions company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of projects by overseeing the installation and commissioning processes. Your responsibilities will include preparing the site, managing logistics, reconciling materials, and ensuring high-quality, first-time-right installations. You will serve as the Installation In-Charge, taking ownership of all installation and commissioning activities at the site. This includes developing a comprehensive execution plan, ensuring site readiness, mobilizing the installation team, and conducting material reconciliation. Your technical proficiency will be key in guaranteeing First Time Right (FTR) installations. Collaboration with Automation and Software teams is essential to ensure seamless integration of software activities. You will also be responsible for developing RFQ documents for contractors, evaluating quotations, and coordinating contractor mobilization, deployment, and demobilization. Maintaining ISO compliance and preparing for audits will be part of your role, along with ensuring strict adherence to ISO processes during site execution and diligently maintaining all necessary records for ISO audit and compliance. You will also be responsible for workforce tracking and attendance records of contract workforce to monitor compliance and track project labor. Your key results areas (KRAs) will include achieving business goals, efficient project execution processes, and training and development of the team. The requisite qualifications for this role include a Bachelor of Engineering / B Tech. (Mechanical) and Diploma (Mechanical), along with 7+ years of experience for degree holders and 10+ years of experience for diploma holders in projects installation activities. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience in projects installation in the intralogistics domain. Skills and competencies required for this role include proficiency in engineering layout drawing reading, strong interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, result orientation, self-motivation, good oral and written communication, and a positive attitude open to suggestions and improvement.
