Engineer II

About the Team:

As part of the global Brakes Control R&D organization, our System and Function Development team plays a pivotal role in developing advanced systems and functions for global customers. We work in close collaboration with international teams, focusing on vehicle dynamics and signal processing. Our responsibilities include aligning with projects and customers to elicit stakeholder requirements and working downstream with software and hardware teams to ensure seamless function delivery.

What you can look forward to as Engineer II:

  • Decompose and Develop system level requirements based on customer requirements. Definition of CAN specific requirements in textual form (PTC), includes Core and Application definitions.
  • Ensure cross discipline alignment of system artifact content and technical maturity according to project schedule. Alignment with software teams on available CAN stacks.
  • Develop and drive on time delivery of all System Engineering work products such as System Specifications, function logical architecture.
  • Creation of machine-readable CAN J1939 definitions in Vector CAN dbc format, or similar.
  • Perform Acceptance testing for CAN work products for selected deliveries and products.
  • Follow industry standards like ISO26262, ASPICE processes and support Audits to meet customer demands.
  • Drive resolution of open issues related to Requirements Engineering and Systems Engineering.

Your profile as Engineer II:

  • Bachelors/masters degree in electrical, mechanical, or vehicle engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 6months -1 years of engineering experience in automotive / commercial vehicle ECUs or embedded real time safety critical systems required. Ideally working in the Vehicle Communication and Diagnostics area.
  • Good understanding of vehicle communication networks (CAN/CAN-FD/Ethernet) is required. Knowledge of Autosar CAN Stack development is an added advantage.
  • Experience with automotive tools (Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape/PEAK/etc). Knowledge of Vector PREEvision is an added advantage.
  • Experience reading and writing CAPL scripts, C/C++ codes., Model Based Development methodologies,PTC Integrity, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft software and Similar
