Engineer II, QA

Role Overview: You will be an active participant in planning and designing product features with the ability to view the product from a customer perspective. Collaborating with cross-functional teams involved in product delivery will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for developing, updating, maintaining, and executing automated tests, reviewing and triaging test failures, verifying fixes, and analyzing code coverage using industry-standard tools. Enhancing and extending test automation libraries and frameworks, building testing tools, mock services, and managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotations, drive bug isolation, help restore the service, and stay current with the latest engineering technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams involved in product delivery - Develop, update, maintain, and execute automated tests - Review and triage test failures, verify fixes, and analyze code coverage - Enhance and extend test automation libraries and frameworks - Build testing tools and mock services - Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment - Participate in on-call rotations, drive bug isolation, and help restore the service - Stay current with the latest engineering technologies and best practices Qualification Required: - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent domain - 4+ years of experience as a Software engineer or equivalent - At least 2+ years of test automation experience - Strong experience in automating SOAP, REST Web services APIs and back-end APIs - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills - Good programming skills with Core Java Language - Strong experience in Automation using Selenium WebDriver, Appium, and Cypress - Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript - Experience with XML, Java, JUnit, TestNG, JavaScript, and GroovyScript - Experience with debugging tools like BurpSuite, PostMan, POSTER, RESTClient, and FireBug - Experience with SVN, GIT, Jenkins, Confluence, JIRA (nice to have) - Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology - Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and Microservice Architecture - Must be high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and have the ability to function under pressure - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - Good presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills,
