Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving product development with predictability, autonomy, and reliability in engineering delivery. Your focus will be on ensuring products are efficiently manufacturable, serviceable, and meet high quality and reliability standards. Additionally, you will contribute technical innovations aligned with market needs and emerging trends, and leverage AI tools to enhance design review, verification, and development efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Drive product development with predictability, autonomy, and reliability - Ensure products are efficiently manufacturable, serviceable, and meet high quality and reliability standards - Focus on cost-effective development, production cost reduction, and indigenisation - Contribute technical innovations aligned with market needs and emerging trends - Leverage AI tools to enhance design review, verification, and development efficiency - Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement and optimization - Collaborate closely with industrialization, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams - Coordinate with suppliers, alliances, and technology partners for outsourced development - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, PDP, and design QA frameworks - Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation - Conduct milestone reviews, technical demonstrations, and ensure smooth integration across cross-functional teams - Promote technical mentorship through training programs for core and cross-functional teams - Demonstrate ownership, collaboration, and commitment to excellence, especially during critical milestones Qualifications Required: - Strong fundamentals in electronics, microcontroller-based embedded systems, and communication interfaces - Hands-on experience with electronic components (passive/active), ICs, and sensors - Proficient in component selection and integration based on technical requirements and constraints - Skilled in creating block diagrams, schematics, design calculations, BOMs, and documentation - Experience with hardware/firmware design, simulation, testing, and debugging tools and methodologies - Proficient in schematic and PCB design tools such as Eagle, Altium, etc. - Expertise in writing optimized, reusable, and scalable code in Embedded C - Ability to create and execute comprehensive test plans to validate design performance - Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities throughout development and validation stages - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of ownership Additional Company Details: The company emphasizes basic firmware using Embedded C, protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, electronics and embedded system circuit designing, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
