POSITION SUMMARY Engineer II Incumbent will have to work as an individual contributor in Bangalore, India. The role involves developing the solutions to the Mechanical engineering challenges for the diversified product lines of Textron Specialized Vehicles includes Golf, Turf, Utility, Ground Support Equipment, and off-highway recreational vehicles. Use of Mechanical principles, theories and concepts are required to complete the tasks. In this role the individual follows specific, detailed instructions and contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks. Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the section or group. Daily activities broadly separated into two segments as listed below, New Product design Supporting the design and development activities of subsystems like Chassis, Brakes, Steering, Plastics, and suspensions etc. Current Products / Sustaining Supporting the design activates related to the continues improvements of the vehicles and manufacturing methods. Involves solving the problems faced in the factory and field. Experience & Qualification:Minimum 4 years of experience in the related field with Engineering Degree (B. Tech/BE) in Mechanical / Automotive/ Industrial Engineering. Candidates are evaluated on core/system knowledge of Mechanical engineering under automobile, Industrial, e-Mobility and Engineering change management process disciplines, Knowledge on any CAD and PLM/PDM system is an added advantage. * Experience & Qualification:Minimum 4 years of experience in the related field with Engineering Degree (B. Tech/BE) in Mechanical / Automotive/ Industrial Engineering.
