As an Engineer (Flood Risk Modelling) within our Water Team, you will provide technical support mainly on flood modelling, flood risk assessment, hydrology and GIS based desk study projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.
The role includes delivering hydraulic modelling and flood risk-based studies for a range of UK water sector Clients using industry standard software (Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, Estry, HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM 2D) as well as supporting/overseeing the project deliveries of junior colleagues. You will be expected to have strong knowledge on flood alleviation schemes, hydraulic modelling, hydrology, hydraulic design and GIS based analytical tools.
