Your impact will involve project execution, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment. This includes calculation and design of electrical systems such as load summary, sizing of power equipment, DG sets, cables, and their schedule. You will also design electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD) with protection schemes, calculate illumination requirements, and create earthing layouts. Additionally, you will design ELV systems focusing on fire & alarm, access control, and public address, ensuring seamless interfacing between them. In addition to technical expertise, as an electrical engineer at Jacobs, you will be expected to lead projects, multitask effectively, and meet deliverable commitments. Key responsibilities include attending client meetings to understand their requirements, proposing systems and schemes, developing design specifications, creating layout drawings, preparing tender documents, estimating project costs, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will also liaise with other departments for coordination, communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors, and monitor job progress diligently. **Qualifications:** - Minimum qualification of BE / B-Tech - 8-10 years of experience - Experience in industries like Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, FMCG, Chemical, or Data Center - Proficiency in software such as ETAP or equivalent for electrical power system studies, Dia-Lux or equivalent for lightning calculation, and AutoCAD - Good computer literacy At Jacobs, people are valued, and the right balance of belonging, career growth, and lifestyle is essential for consistently exceeding client expectations.
