As an Electrical Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for project execution, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment. This includes tasks such as calculation and design of electrical systems, comprising load summary, sizing of power equipment, DG sets, cables, and their schedule. You will also be involved in designing electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD) with protection schemes, calculating illumination requirements, and creating earthing layouts. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, particularly fire & alarm systems, access control, public address systems, and integrating these systems with each other. In addition to technical expertise, the role requires the ability to lead projects, multitask effectively, and meet deliverable commitments. Key responsibilities include attending client meetings to understand their requirements, proposing systems and schemes, developing design specifications and layout drawings, preparing tender and enquiry documents for electrical equipment, estimating contractor MTO and project costing, adhering to relevant standards, coordinating with other departments, communicating with clients, suppliers, and contractors, as well as tracking and monitoring job progress. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of a BE/B-Tech degree, with 8-10 years of experience in industries such as Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, FMCG, Chemical, or Data Center. Proficiency in software such as ETAP or equivalent for electrical power system studies, Dia-Lux or equivalent for lightning calculation, and AutoCAD is desirable.
