Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Eaton, you will be part of a global team of security experts driving the Security by Design philosophy in Eaton products, solutions, and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing on existing and upcoming Eaton products, solutions, and services across various technologies such as IoT devices, systems & solutions, web applications, mobile applications, thick clients, wireless devices, and embedded systems. - Supporting Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment exercises with product teams to identify cybersecurity requirements in Mobility related products. - Supporting the certification or compliance of Eaton products under standards like UL2900, IEC62443, and other emerging schemes. - Developing tools, scripts, and automation frameworks to enhance security at Eaton scale. - Providing technical security trainings to software developers, test engineers, and other functions within the organization. - Monitoring the evolving threat landscape, cybersecurity technologies, standards, and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in Eaton's cybersecurity requirements and processes. - Supporting Cybersecurity Project management and OpEX processes to drive efficiencies and continuous improvements in CCoE's various engagements. Qualifications: - Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. - 1-2 years of relevant experience in Product cybersecurity (one-year waiver possible with a Masters Degree). Skills required for the role: - Ability to work independently on product certifications and cybersecurity testing. - Proficiency in producing detailed product assessment reports and understanding technical cybersecurity concepts deeply. - Hands-on experience in various cybersecurity activities and expertise with tools like Nessus, Black Duck, Defensics, Burpsuite, Kali Linux, etc. - Good understanding of security protocols, ICS protocols, network protocols, secure network design, operating system internals, web application security, and browser security. - Knowledge of attacks and mitigations in various areas. - Certifications like CEH, OSCP are considered a plus. In addition, you should have the ability to work in diverse and geographically dispersed teams, collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, and present to various levels of engineering and business leadership globally.
