Engineer - Cybersecurity

As a Cybersecurity Engineer at Eaton, you will play a crucial role in driving the Security by Design philosophy across Eaton's product, solutions, and services. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing on existing and upcoming Eaton products, solutions & services covering a wide range of technologies. - Supporting Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment exercises with product teams to identify cybersecurity requirements. - Assisting in the certification or compliance of Eaton products under industry standards like UL2900, IEC62443, and others. - Developing tools, scripts, and automation frameworks to enhance security measures at Eaton. - Providing technical security training to software developers, test engineers, and other departments within the organization. - Monitoring the evolving threat landscape, cybersecurity technologies, and standards to drive continuous improvement in Eaton's cybersecurity frameworks and processes. - Supporting Cybersecurity Project management and OpEX processes to drive efficiencies and continuous improvements. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. - 1-2 years of relevant experience in Product cybersecurity (one-year waiver possible with a Masters Degree). Skills essential for this position are: - Ability to work independently on product certifications and cybersecurity testing with minimal guidance. - Proficiency in producing detailed product assessment reports and conducting Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment. - Hands-on experience in cybersecurity activities such as assessments, penetration testing, secure coding, and familiarity with cybersecurity tools. - Strong understanding of security protocols, ICS protocols, network security, operating system security, web application security, and related attack mitigation. - Certifications like CEH, OSCP would be a plus. Additionally, you should possess: - Ability to work effectively in diverse and geographically dispersed teams. - Collaboration skills across various teams including Development, product management, and project management. - Proficiency in presenting to engineering and business leadership globally.,
