Job Description

(Industry - Seamless Pipes & Tubes)

Execute daily production activities in Hot Rolling Mill & API pipe production to meet output, yield, and quality targets.
Monitor and control rolling parameters, furnace temperature, pass schedule, and mill performance to ensure stable operations.
Ensure compliance with API 5L / API 5CT standards and coordinate with QA/QC for testing, inspection, and documentation.
Identify process deviations and support troubleshooting to reduce cobbles, rejections, and downtime.
Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and ensure health of mill equipment.
Enforce safety procedures, conduct shift inspections, and ensure adherence to Jindal SAWs EHS standards.
Maintain shift reports, production logs, NDT records, and ensure proper SAP/ERP data entry.
Train operators, supervise shift manpower, and support continuous improvement projects (5S, Kaizen, TPM).
