Engine & ATS Design

Associate Divisional Manager Bus Vehicle Integration is responsible for leading the end-to-end integration of all vehicle systems and aggregates in bus platforms. This includes ensuring seamless interaction between chassis, powertrain, electrical, HVAC, body, and safety systems to meet functional, regulatory, and customer requirements. The role demands cross-functional coordination, technical leadership, and strategic planning to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and timely vehicle programs

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Electrical Engineering.


• 10 15 years of experience in vehicle integration, preferably in commercial vehicles or buses.


• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, aggregates, and their interactions.


• Proficiency in CAD tools (NX,CATIA, Creo, etc.) and PLM systems.


• Experience with regulatory compliance and homologation processes.
  
  
  
  

Vehicle Integration Leadership

• Lead integration of all vehicle subsystems (chassis, body, electrical, HVAC, infotainment, etc.) for bus platforms.


• Ensure compatibility and performance across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.


• Drive resolution of integration issues during design, prototyping, and validation phases.

Program Management

• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, validation, and supplier teams to ensure timely delivery of integrated vehicle solutions.


• Manage vehicle build planning from prototype to production.


• Track and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

Technical Oversight

• Own the full vehicle CAD and drawing accuracy across multiple levels.


• Conduct Digital Mock-Up (DMU) evaluations and packaging studies.


• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (AIS, CMVR, BS VI, etc.).

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

• Lead cross-functional teams including design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing.


• Interface with suppliers and vendors for integration-related deliverables.


• Present integration status and risks to senior leadership.
