Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Embedded QA Engineer – Level 1 to join our team. The role involves testing embedded software, hardware, and system integrations to ensure product reliability, performance, and compliance with requirements. This is an entry-level role, suitable for freshers or engineers with limited experience who are eager to build a career in embedded systems testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and automated testing of embedded software and hardware.
• Create, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
• Validate firmware, drivers, and board-level functionality.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing for embedded systems.
• Record, track, and document test results, bugs, and performance issues.
• Work closely with developers and hardware engineers to identify and isolate defects.
• Verify compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Support test automation framework development and maintain test environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware testing.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming and scripting languages (Python preferred).
• Knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers (basic usage).
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have (Optional):

• Exposure to automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus).
• Experience with version control tools (Git) and bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) basics.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹155,000.09 - ₹600,000.00 per year
