Embedded Linux Engineer

As a Senior Engineer / Principal Engineer based in Ahmedabad, with 4 to 8 years of experience, your main technical responsibilities will include: - Understanding and writing requirements - Estimating efforts - Architecting embedded systems - Designing and developing embedded systems based on customer needs - Reviewing designs and source code - Troubleshooting and problem-solving - Ensuring on-time delivery of quality deliverables In addition to the technical responsibilities, you will also be: - Interfacing with customers - Providing value addition for customers - Defining technical training - Building and mentoring team members Your area of expertise should include: - Excellent programming skills in C - Linux Kernel programming skills with experience in device driver embedded systems - Board bring-up experience - Understanding of various processor and microcontroller architectures like Cortex-A series, ARM series processors, etc. - Working experience of architecting embedded systems - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in debugging and hands-on coding and tool usage - Experience with bare metal, RTOS, device driver development is an added advantage The skills required for this role are: - Excellent written and verbal communication - Direct customer interaction, especially with US or Europe-based clients, will be an added advantage - Ability to write high-quality, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment - Participation in feature and designs discussions within and across teams - Evangelizing and informing with well-written design documents and conducting peer reviews - Reviewing code, developing documentation and capacity plans, and debugging complex problems live on innovative IoT devices As for the education criteria, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Computer Engineering.,
