Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate IoT Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in microcontroller programming and embedded systems, particularly with platforms like ESP32, PIC Microchip, Nuvoton, Atmega, and Arduino. Experience with firmware development and PCB design tools such as KiCad and Eagle is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware for various microcontrollers (ESP32, PIC, Atmega, Nuvoton, etc.)
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules (e.g., WiFi, BLE, LoRa) into IoT systems
• Write and optimize firmware for performance, reliability, and power efficiency
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for schematic design and PCB layout using KiCad or Eagle
• Conduct hardware testing and troubleshooting at the component and system level
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and support product integration
• Document technical specifications and project progress

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related field
• Proven experience with at least three of the following: ESP32, PIC microcontrollers, Nuvoton, Atmega, Arduino
• Strong understanding of C/C++ for embedded firmware development
• Hands-on experience with serial communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
• Familiarity with using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred/Advantageous Skills

• Experience with KiCad and/or Eagle for PCB design
• Familiarity with low-power embedded system design
• Exposure to real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS or similar)
• Basic knowledge of cloud integration (e.g., MQTT, HTTP, REST APIs)
