Embedded Application Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain

  embedded application software

  using

  C/C++

• Build application layers on top of

  RTOS or Embedded Linux

• Integrate application software with

  drivers, middleware, and BSP

• Implement system features using hardware interfaces and protocols
  
• Debug application-level issues and optimize performance
  
• Support

  product customization, validation, and field issues

• Collaborate with firmware, hardware, QA, and system teams
  
• Create application documentation, user guides, and integration notes

• 48 years of experience in

  embedded application development

• Strong proficiency in

  C / C++

• Experience working with

  RTOS or Embedded Linux

• Understanding of

  embedded system architecture

• Hands-on experience with interfaces:

  UART, SPI, I2C, CAN

• Strong debugging skills using

  GDB, JTAG, logs, trace tools

• Experience integrating applications with

  device drivers

• Experience with

  multithreading, IPC, and memory management

• Knowledge of

  networking protocols

  (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP)
• Exposure to

  Yocto / Buildroot

• Scripting skills (Python/Shell) for automation and testing
  
• Customer-facing or application support experience
