Job Description

Job Title:

SAP ABAP Consultant minimum 6 months Experience

Job Location:

Hyderabad

SAP ABAP consultants with minimum 6 months of experience

The candidate should have strong fundamentals in ABAP and the ability to work closely with functional teams in a project-driven environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance ABAP reports, forms, and interfaces
  • Work on debugging, and issue analysis
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand technical requirements
  • Ensure performance-optimized and quality-driven ABAP development

Required Skills:

Core ABAP Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Classical ABAP and basic Object-Oriented ABAP
  • Experience with internal tables, work areas, and Data Dictionary objects
  • Good understanding of control structures and modularization techniques

Reports, Forms & Enhancements

  • Hands-on experience in ALV reports
  • Exposure to Smart Forms / SAP Scripts
  • Knowledge of User Exits, Customer Exits, and BADIs

Database & Performance

  • Good understanding of Open SQL
  • Experience with joins, select-options, and performance-aware coding

Debugging & Support

  • Ability to debug standard and custom ABAP programs
  • Experience in issue analysis and support activities

Good to Have:

  • Basic exposure to IDocs, BAPIs, or RFCs
  • Knowledge of OData services or SAP Fiori development is an advantage

Candidate Profile:

  • 6 months of relevant SAP ABAP experience
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a project environment
