Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Support:

• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational tickets related to Proofpoint Email Security.
• Working experience and understanding of the email protocols likeSMTP, SPF, DKIM and DMARC
• Provide safe listing and block listing support for domains and email addresses.
• Conduct phishing email analysis and troubleshoot issues concerning non-delivery of emails.
• Creation and modification of Email firewall / spam rules as per service tickets to address specific security requirements.
• Ensure email security gateways are configured and updated with advanced cybersecurity features and rules.
• Working experience with email MTAs, SPAM filters management
• Knowledgeable about the ITIL procedures, Incident and Service request management, SLA hygiene etc.

1. Documentation and Monitoring:

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation for email security processes.
• Monitor email security alerts and manage responses based on alerts generated by the Proofpoint Email Monitoring system.

1. Design and Configuration:

• Provide design and configuration support for the deployment and transition of the Proofpoint Email Security solution.

1. Vendor Collaboration:

• Collaborate with vendors for the timely resolution of platform-related tickets and enhance overall email security performance.

1. Mitigation Implementation:

• Assist with the implementation of countermeasures and mitigating controls for identified email security issues.

1. Technical Knowledge:

• Utilize knowledge of multi-cluster Proofpoint setups to enhance security strategies and configurations.
