Job Summary:

Elevator Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of elevator/escalator installation or modernization projects
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and general contractors to define project scope and timelines
Supervise on-site installation teams, subcontractors, and technicians to ensure work progresses as planned
Review and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints for accuracy and feasibility
Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and elevator codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1)
Monitor project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization
Prepare and deliver project reports, progress updates, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders
Manage procurement and timely delivery of elevator components, tools, and materials
Conduct site readiness assessments and resolve any civil/electrical interface issues with the builder
Lead project handover processes, quality checks, testing, and certification procedures
Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication and issue resolution

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of elevator systems (traction, hydraulic, machine-room-less) and installation procedures
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Excel)
Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1, ISO 9001)
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required
