Job Description

As an Installation Project Manager, your role involves overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of elevator/escalator installation projects. You will work closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery. Your key responsibilities include: - Project Planning & Execution: - Plan and schedule installation activities, reviewing technical drawings and manuals. - Allocate necessary resources for smooth project execution and monitor progress. - Ensure projects are completed on time by coordinating with teams and clients effectively. - Team Management: - Supervise installation engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. - Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections to enforce safety norms. - Uphold company policies and work ethics among all personnel involved in the project. - Quality & Safety Compliance: - Enforce safety procedures according to company and statutory standards. - Conduct quality checks at each installation stage and maintain proper documentation. - Ensure compliance with inspection reports, test certificates, and checklists. - Client Coordination: - Serve as the main contact point for clients during installation projects. - Provide regular updates, address client queries, and resolve issues promptly. - Collaborate with civil contractors, consultants, and authorities for seamless site execution. - Testing, Commissioning & Handover: - Supervise testing and commissioning processes for installed elevators/escalators. - Complete handover documents, obtain client sign-off, and provide operation and maintenance training. - Cost & Inventory Control: - Monitor material usage, minimize wastage, and adhere to installation budgets. - Report any variances and manage subcontractor billing and site expenses efficiently.
