Job Description

As a potential candidate, you will be responsible for leading the design of electro-mechanical systems that comply with RTCA DO-160, MIL Specs, IPC, and ARINC standards. Your role will involve supporting new product development by leveraging a strong understanding of integrated product development processes. Additionally, you will contribute to PCB design, box build, and enclosure design encompassing machined, sheet metal, and plastics. It will be your responsibility to ensure structural integrity through vibration/load analysis and design for crash, altitude, and environmental factors. You will also play a key role in developing thermal management solutions such as natural/forced convection and heatsinks. Moreover, defining aerospace-grade fasteners, tolerance analysis, fit/finish requirements, and material/coating specifications will be part of your duties. Your proactive approach will involve identifying and mitigating technical and schedule risks effectively. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of structural design, thermal systems, and material properties. - Hands-on experience in Unigraphics (NX) modeling, drafting, and assemblies. - Familiarity with PLM tools, preferably ARAS, and exposure to costing/DFMA tools.
