Job Responsibility Modelling the electro-refining or metallurgical process, model validation with plant data, and implementation of modelling outcome. Development and application of process fundamentals & engineering aspects of the electro-refining process for improvement in cathode quality. Design the experiments or pilot trials for hypothesis validation and guide the team members in execution of DOE. Developing the project scope, technical ideation, evaluating & proposing the technical solution. Publish the work in a conference & refereed journals. Project scoping & delivery, customer interactions, getting VOC, and documentation. Developing an understanding of the effect of upstream processes on the cathode quality/metal recovery and the consequences of cathode quality on the subsequent wire-rod quality. Process benchmarking, interact with experts, and continuously update the domain knowledge. Guiding the team members in the technical aspects of the project. Desired Skillsets Must have Strong research inclination in Process Metallurgy areas (Ferrous or non-ferrous) Modeling experience in electrolysis/refining. In-depth knowledge in electrochemistry and reaction modelling. Problem-solving capability Willingness to lead a team. Willingness to stay and work at the plant for a longer duration.
